i just bought my ca18det but it turned out to be from a FWD, i was wandering cuz im a noob at this, what is needed to convert to RWD other then getting a RWD transmission on it? and also i need a SMIC or FMIC if anyone know or have one let me know at [email protected] thanks.

As far as I know - you cant use the fwd engine in the rwd 240, regardless of what you buy. I don't know for sure with the ca - but I know for sure that sr's have a completely different transmission bolt patern, and mount location on fwd, compared to rwd. The ca is most likely the same situation. Just sell the fwd ca, and buy the right one - don't try to rig it up to "kind of work"! Do it big, Do it small, do it right - Or not at all.

intake manifold, exhaust manifold, trans, brackets that motor mounts attach too, i think most accesories, etc.

I've heard of making a fwd engine into a rwd before.. something setting up the drivetrain or something. but this of course i got about the sr20 in sentras not ca18

You need RWD mounts, flywheel, clutch, transmission, exhaust manifold. Intake manifold you just have to swap which side the TB is. Depending on what accessories you want you mayb need the RWD version. That is about it.

Where did u get that fwd ca18det from. I 'm actualy looking for fwd ca18det exhaust manifold. And it happens that I have a rwd ca18det from s13. If you gonnna need the rwd manifold for the conversion I can send u mine and I can use yours the fwd will just work perfect for me cause I have a nissan pulsar(fwd). Even if you end up not using the engine I'm ready to buy just the exhaust I' m paying right away pay pal money order any way you wanted. I live in 33716 FL.
