fwd and rwd?

quick question. Is there a defference between a CA18DET for a fwd and a rwd? let me know something ok. Thanks

well obviously the transmission would have to be changed...other than that, the exhaust manifold and I'm not sure about the intake manifold.

you would have to change the transmission n both manifold!!! and ECu's ive thought about doing this since i want a spare block and head for when i throw a rod through mine, LOL\Jon

i think both versions are quite similar, unlike the SR. the intake manifiold will accept the throttle body at either end, it has a blanking plate at one end.

while the manifold are similar they are reversed and you can't really flip them. The engine itself should be fine but you need the intake specific to the orientation you will want.
