is this a serious question? rwd and good weight/weight balance is what makes the 240sx what it is today. i would not drive it if it was fwd, i would probably try and get an s2000.megaderk wrote:im bringing this up only because i think this could be an interesting topic to discuss. try not to flame too much.
If the 240sx were never created RWD and instead realeased as a FWD vehicle, would it be what it is and as popular as it is today? and would you still have bought one? would you be where you are today with your 240?
worth discussion?
when i was a kid i had fallen in love w/my uncles red fc i was looking for a cheap car about 7 yrs ago (damn im old) and from far away thought it was an fc...when i got closer i saw it was a nissan and still looked decent but the price had me sold (500 bux RUNNING w/107k miles) so i purchased her and the rest is history....to answer the question i doubt i would have put money into it if it did not have the potential that it does more than likely would have wound up purchasing a fc and using the 240 as a beater lol.....and to my friend above i feel your pain on the fwd/ftl altimas such a wastesebazztard wrote:i was unaware it was rwd when i drove my first one, tbh. i wasnt really into cars as much as i am today and i just f***ing fell in love with the car the first time i drove one. it didnt matter if it was awd, i had to have one. this was 10 years ago or so.

I will say this: Nissan trans>Ford trans. FC would be my second choice though, I love those cars. They do make a 2+2 FC too, rare as f*** but they did make them.AZ89two4Tsx wrote:I got this car mainly because it has a back seat. Otherwise, I would have much rather had an FC, if it had a backseat of course. 240s are slowwwwwwww.
Come to think of it, I almost got a mustang. Rwd, parts are cheap as dirt, backseat, easy to work on, and did I mention parts are cheap as dirt? I'm still pondering one actually. Whatever though, I caught the 240 bug and got one.
Sure, it's getting painted right now. 5K w/o the wheels OR coils. Lmk if you're interested, lol.Xdisaster240sX wrote:Ill be happy to take your S13 off your hands. Rustang
I'm glad you picked up on that. That is how serious I am on having a RWD car. My wife had a Camry and I hated driving that car! Maybe I'm old school but spinning front tires look so ghey! My next Nissan car will be a RWD one but it has to be a step down from a 350z/370z.94_240sx wrote:

Well, I don't really have any pics except when I first got it, and then ones like my sig, but that's it. I'll take a bunch once it back from paint though.Xdisaster240sX wrote:Youll drive it across the states? Im not going to do that you your car. well...send some pics. [email protected]
GTFO.....man i can't believe you ever thought about that. It would be as popular as a two door 95 toyota camry......hahahahamegaderk wrote:im bringing this up only because i think this could be an interesting topic to discuss. try not to flame too much.
