witchcraft - did you read the part where they say the interior of the car can mold or expand depending on the number of passengers...witchcraft, i think not!---hehe, but j/kng aside, I think it be cool if someone can actually built a hyrogen conversion kit for todays cars --- also, has anyone heard of the dude who developed a machine that uses garbage as fuel (it aint the "Doc" from B2TF), I heard that he/she lives in the US

I would have to say nay to the ideas presented in the begining of the article. I like to drive. I dislik having other people drive me. So I know I would hate having a computer drive me. Anybody ever see the anime EX-Driver?

lol yep seen it. No they are not talking about like ex driver. Ex driver is computer controled with no thought you say "tokyo train station" it drives you there. With this it's talking about incorperating biotechnology and computer technology together.

Like what you see in sci fi movies. Most of the time in sci fi movies the ships were huge giant metal ships. The way this article talks is alien like spacecraft or vehicles. Cell vehicles in other words.

I understand what you are saying, but i still would feel like I am not in control of the car. Then again I guess time will only tell. I still think cars would go rogue and you would need the human element to take them down. So you know what hell with it let these vehicles come. I will fight the good fight and take down any car that goes rogue on my watch! They wont know what to do when i roll up in my DRIFT CAPRICE!

I'll take that Audi from I-robot, that thing was badass! The MV Agusta was kickass too.

I don't like new cars, too much digital, automatic computer controlled cupholder, throttle by wire gayness. If I want a car to do evrything for me while I sit helpless I'll hail a taxi.

Haha, i've wanted one of those since the mid 80's!that and a hoverconversion for my ride.

Seriously though, we all know the tech in cars is going to steadily progress just like it always has. In 10-20 years or so everything will be a hybrid, with electric/fuel cell cars starting to come around. As for the whole interior morphing, that sounds a little too bizzare and pricey to ever become a reality, but who knows, I never thought teleporting was possible, but they've already done that! (with a single atom or electron or something ridiculously small like that)

p.s. all that drive by wire crap can go to hell too

p.p.s. all this technology and they still don't have a supercharger you can turn on and off (think mad max here)

ok imma shut up now

When cars start hovering, we'll have insanely fast cars, seeing as how we won't have to bother with friction anymore (at least not from the road)

hovercraft don't corner baby, tires win! I'll be drivin my Skyline when I am old and grey, distilling alcohol in the garage to fuel the bastard!
