Since i got my car I never realized the lights on the shift P R N D didnt light up, but i did notice my hazard lights never worked, thought maybe it was a loose wire, come to find out, the hazard lights button is supposed to light up to.. maybe a blown fuse? i tried looking for the fuse to change it but not very familiar with fuses and which goes to which, can anyone tell me what fuse would go to that area, for a 04 maxima. Thanks

I don't believe the hazard light button on mine lights up...Unless I'm mistaken, it's just a solid gray button with a red embossed hazard symbol on it--nothing to light up.

The gear selector...same thing.Mine has no lights on the shifter gate. There's just the "digital clock" style gear indicator on the instrument cluster.

EDIT:Do you have the 4 speed or 5 speed auto?

I have a similar problem in my '04 Maxima but from the owners manual cannot locate which fuse is at fault. Neither my shifter nor my parking lights are working. Which fuse controls those?
