I keep blowing my A/C controler (the senter console heat controler thing fuse) its a 10, but i've put a 20 in there a few times, and i keep blowing them, does anyone know what the problem could be? thnx in advance

You probably have a shorted wire somewhere. Does it blow the fuse right away, after a while, when you press a certain button? Be more specific about what happens.

after a while, like a day or two, or sometimes within like 5 hours. and it will just go out wiht out anything, like last night i was driving home from work going 55 and i just hear that little pop noise and it blew. i didn't hit any of the buttons

I would guess you have an intermittent short somewhere. Unfortunately for you that fuse powers the AC relay, AC compressor, condenser fan relay, thermo control amp, vent door motor, and the climate control unit. Good luck hunting it down.

check the harness behind your controller for wearing through against a bracket in the dash. do you notice if the system is in the defrost position when it happens? if so it could be your compressor kicking in an blowing the fuse. [if the compressor has a short in its harness].

usually it is in defrost mode, but a few times it was in the dash blow mode (where is blows from the vents)

also, don't put larger current fuses in the socket, you could really mess stuff up. also, does it ever blow when everything is off? if it does, the short is probobly before the switches.
