I was driving home Thursday night when the dash lights, parking lights, and all other lights related to the parking light went out. Indicator signals (gas, CEL, etc.), and head lights were still functioning. Strange thing is when I press the remote to arm or disarm the car alarm, all of the lights function. Anyone care to point me in a certain direction? Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like it could be the lighting switch. Most times, when you have a keyless installed, the keyless unit will power the parking light circuit independently of the lighting switch.

Check the fuse under the kick panel in the driver's side of the car. I know its on the right side of the box, but I forgot what it was called.

It can also be the TCU box I've heard. also located on the driver's side kick panel. If you take that panel off, there is a white or green box down there (it's one or the other, I forget). That box, is faulty. http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/fix-fo ... ights.html

My problem was a short on one of the side markers grounding out, popping the fuse.
Good luck.
