FUSE PROBLEM
FUSE PROBLEM
I tryed to install my radar thru the rear mirror and forgot to turn off the ignition, a spark occurred. Now I have no fuel reading, tach reading, compass reading, my key phob light is on and I cant put the car in drive. I can raise my garage door with the mirror, and the car starts fine but will not go into drive. I'm currently checking every fuse with no such luck. any ideas?

Mission accomplished! It was just one blown 10A fuse, labeled "elec parts" in the cabin fuse box. The fuse is tiny and the dark color makes it hard to see that the fuse was open and needed to be replaced.

Trust me, It did't feel so good either. I can't believe that 1 little 10A fuse is linked to all that stuff.

Hey, he said he forgot. Give the fellow a break. He might be older and demented like me. Hell, I forget where I park the damn thing half the time. Thanx goodness for putting the key fob pointed upright right under my chin right into the bottom skin between my chin and mouth, w/my mouth wide open, pressing the alarm button.
