I have a 1993 Nissan 240SX SE Coupe and I am just recently having a problem with my lights. Whenever I turn on my lights, it blows the Fuse marked for "TAIL LIGHTS." I replaced the fuse and as soon as I turn on my lights again it blows it again. I am replacing it with the fuse it requires (15) and I even tried a 20 fuse in that spot and it blew that one too.

Does anyone think they can help me out?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Chris

I would check the wires were the hatch closes. Mine were all cut and causing a short every time i pressed the brakes and my fuse would blow out. so make sure you dont have any shorts or cut wires. hope this helps

take all your accessable bulbs out, tail, markers, parking, lic lights. place a fuse in and turn on the lights if the fuse doesnt blow start plugging bulbs in till it blows the fuse. once the fuse blows you know where your problem is. if the fuse still blows with none of those bulbs in you have a wiring or connector problem and with out a harness and wiring diagram. it will be very difficult to locate the source of the short

Do the dash lights also run from that fuse? If so, I would also check your radio wiring.

yep dash lights as well. but i wouldnt consider those lights accessable. cause you gotta rip the dash apart. that is a good point after market installed radio wiring could cause it
