FUSE BOX- radar detector hard wire HELP (2003 Infiniti M45)

So this may be a dumb question, but this is the first time I have not been able to find the fuse box inside the car...

I am trying to hard wire my radar detector to the fuse box (probably to the cigarette liter fuse). Any one know where I can find this?!!

There is a fuse box next to you left foot rest. That's were is wired into.

Yes ... the FSM is useful to ensure that you are hooking into the correct fuse, etc.

You can remove the sunglass holder and tap into the overhead lights. Be sure to install an in-line fuse (in either case). A test light is also helpful.

k so heres my dilemma.....HELP

i routed the wire all the way down to the cigarette outlet in the dash rather than to the fuse box...dont ask

when i was pulling the wire through the last bit , I pulled a bit to hard and tore the wire apart.

The wire ends with just two wires (positive and negative). I am going to splice the wires back together, but their are four wires on the other side (very small wiring). There is a green wire, red wire, black wire, and yellowish white wire. again this is for my radar detector and as you can imagine these wires are tiny. So which two are positive and which two are negative?

beltronics. I am all set tho. THey sent me a new wire. I am just going to route it to the audio fuse near the kick panel on the drivers side. Sound good? That will work right?
