My new 1990 300zx na has the fuse box relocated to behind the driver side marker lights.
It was hanging and wrapped in plastic bags. I removed all that and it was pretty wet inside. Luckily no issues. I mounted it inside as high as possible. What other ways can I protect this from any water damage? I ordered a new front and engine aluminum shield so that should help.

Would fabricating so additional plastic housing around it be the solution? Kind of like what a commercial thermostat cover box?

Thanks

Hello, yeah honestly just mounting it in the factory place with the splash shields will be fine. So you should be good to go once those pieces come in. :bigthumb:

I would love to move it back to the top where it belongs. Its impossible to actually work on where it is. I was looking for some instructions but couldnt find any. Im guessing I can pop all the housings out of the box and move it but read where some people had issues starting their car afterwards so that scared me off a little.
