funny smells.....

Hey i was wondering if someone had any advice for me.

I used to have a rough idle and it's basically gone since i've replaced the plugs, wires, O2 sensor and the MAF.

Now when i get over roughly 3000 rpm i get a smell of sulfur or rotten eggs.

Also sometime i smell gas fumes.

Has any of these two problems happened to any of you and if so how did you remedy it?

I've seen (or smelled?) this problem before with bad catalytic converters. Perhaps you could use a new one.

I agree. Smells like a bad Cat Conv. to me

check your fuel filter cause i was smelling the same thing especially since it was raw gas.so when the fuel pump started to pump i noticed that the hose under the fuel filter had busted and i was getting rough idles before and i was geeting terrible gas mileage. so if you have had any of those symptoms then that could be it.
