This is an open thread for anything related to OUR A/C's whilst on road....

Was on a road trip from June 21st to June 30th. 4515 KM Drive from home to Sanfransisco / LA... During my travels.... I had a Gas station attendant ask me what kind of car i drove... He asked "What kind of car is this? A Nissan 300?" was quite amusing... He then fell on his a** when he asked how much the car costed me.... 43K... He thought 23. He loved the car none the less.

While staying at a family friends house out in Alameda, A neighbour of his came over (while we were washing cars, 2 prius's suprisingly common out there... 1 Sienna, G35 Sedan and my car) he asked about my Exhaust.... Apparently (this guy looks seasoned as well easily in his 50's one of those wealthy folks) he has NEVER seen blue exhaust tips. I noted his corvette in the garage and we had a nice little chat about it. He now knows its called burnt tips and i believe hes going to get a blow torch and try it out... I hope he removes his exhaust before doing it though....

During the trip, raced a few cars on the free way. - All wins - modded Subaru WRX STI, a De-Badged Slate grey Altima Coupe ( Pretty sure it was a 2008-2009 2.5) Seemed like he had trouble keeping up... He took a nice look at my AC... An Older BMW 328, Few Dodge rams.

One thing i noticed on the drive home and i really hope this guys sees it.. But i nearly had to change my underwear. I saw a lowered AC Black upper and Lime Green lower going the opposite way on the freeway. Fully debadge and tinted... I wanted so badly to spin the car around and chase him down

I thought you meant to use "43" in the place of "23" and vice versa when you were mentioning prices

I get my AC for $16K less than you, and I only pay about $480/year for legit healthcare. I also get a $2,500 allowance for doctor visits and prescriptions.

What I dont have are funny moments regarding my AC, so sorry for taking this thread off track.

42...

had 3 dealers bidding against each other. Morrey Nissan was unable to deliver for 38k (let alone find the car i wanted)
Richmond couldnt find the car period
Downtown found it, and i made the salesmen sweat. He was able to deliver but unable to go lower. Mind you all that 500 of it was for undercoating and rustproofing. Personally Im OK with the price i walked with. I made him walk back to his sales manager quite a bit but they couldnt go less. Told them my price and my "max" (which wasnt really) and they went close enough to it.

Brand new white on black 6mt 3.5... im cool with it
