I thought you guys might like to see that and get a good laugh. I guess the seller doesn't know that any 240 will sell. But yea i give him props for being straight forward about his car, like i do when i sell stuff.

Yes its a piece of crap, but a solid swap car if u want to jump on the bandwagon and get an sr. Or be different with an RB26DETT

The car just needs some serious love. And the guy should be shot for not taking care of it

it could be fixed with some love from another owner, you could do other things with it, maybe derby!,lol.

or it could be a 100% drag car.

Hmm...is it hard to clear a salvage title car through the border to Canada? I'd take it off his hands for the power windows and locks.

Everything!!!

sorry... couldn't resist.

Sounds like the engine is shot from his description. I would buy it as a shell for a complete resoration, or just as a parts car to part out. Either way it should def. be worth $400 or more. If that is the case, he is throwing in the fenders which should be worth a couple hundred more dollars.

Definitely not a project for the faint of heart!

But it could be a recipient of an SR, CA, RB, or a new KA and be a decent platform to start with. That is not a car to be used as a daily driver. It just needs too much help. It could however turn into a track car since you pretty much get all new stuff in a track car anyhow.

yes, its a good deal if you know what you're doing. but it will take a lot of hard work and money to get it there. it has electrical problems so you better know how to use a soldering iron and read a wiring diagram. theres also rust, and depending on where its at it may not be able to be fixed. it may never drive the same as it did the day it rolled off the lot. nonetheless, if you feel you can tackle that kind of job, its up to you. it would be quite an accomplishment to turn a car from that into something nice.

If the transmission isn't shot it'd make a great 5-speed swap donor. But looking at the condition of everything else on the car I'm sure the transmission needs some work. Oh, but it does have a spoilerless hatch.

Rust under the mirrors....... I wonder how that happens.

I hate to a see a 240 in that much pain If someone gets it for less than 400 they'd actually make money parting it out and selling the fenders
