91 240 hatch, redtop fmic, 255lph pump, megan fpr, safc2, stock turbo and block the car dosnt run well once the boost begins to go posative(i can only go 60ish)when you remove the oil cap air pulses from the valve cover, dont think thats goodon a compresion test #1 cyl holds 120 while the others hold 150when the maf hot wire is disconected from the ecu the car insantly idels better, i have tried this with and with out safc2 connected between maf and ecu.why do i have so much presure? valve seal? causing bad performance? in order to use a diffrent maf (Z32 or Other) do i only consult the chart supplied by apexi for which hot wire to set to (hw4 or hw6)any wisdom is welcome

ok so this is what i gleamed out of that... "i have low pressure in no1 cyl, i have air comeing out my oil fill hole." thats most likely blow by and is a symptom of bad rings. put a few drops of oil in that cyl and see if that number comes up. if it does its definitely rings.

yes i have added oil and the presure rises, ive been told its probly the top ringi understand this will kill performance but my car runs horibly, cold starts are a b**** and there is alot of pressure pulsing from the valve cover

the pressure is compression blowing past the rings and venting through the oil filler cap or any other hole like the pcv valve, oil dipstick tube, or the pcv valve. the only fix for that is new rings. this could also be contributing to your poor performance, it could also be causing an excessive amount of friction in the cylinder witch would also add to your performance issues. as far as the safc2 unit you may have better luck calling apexi about the maf issue you may also want to test the maf while the car is running to make sure that it is within spec as it will read the same output voltage with or with out the safc as the safc changes the signal after it leaves the maf.

i know the motor needs a rebuild, it started running alot worse this weekend and that was somthing i noticedwhat voltage should the maf produce? is a 90 sohc ka maf the same as an s13 sr or similar?
