Fun things to do in California? For a gearhead
I'm going to Venice, CA for the American Ninja Challenge in August. I plan on spending a week or two out there. I was looking for some fun things to do or see. Stuff that might not be on a conventional travel site. Automotive enthusiast things would be great! But looking for anything

You can drive all the way up to NorCal for a reach around from me. You can turn it into a race against me losing interest. Just drive safe.

Check out Speed Zone. I think it's in Malibu, which isn't too far of a drive from Venice. But if you like go-karting, then it's totally worth it.
