Well I got my ECU back from AEM at about 3:30PM on friday, fouled my plugs, and drained my batter by about 4PM.

I finally figured out that AEM had completely wiped my ECU, and after frantic searching, could not find my backup calibrations I had the car running off the base-map and the modifications needed for 1000cc injectors by around 4:30 or so, and driving shortly after.

I went out and threw on what I 'figured' to be a safe tune going off of memory from when I was last on the dyno, and it seemed like it was making decent power and the logs were showing decent figures.

I ended up getting lucky when I got to the drag strip and I actually found the damn calibration file! I turned the boost up to 16-17psi and made some passes. The track prep was **** because it was 'street-car' night, however I was happy with my trap speed. I also hadnt played with the 2-step at all so it was taking some getting used to that......

I could only muster a handful of 12.0's because the car was simply not getting out of the hole, however I had the MPH for low 11's. The best of the night was 124..... Here are some vids

http://www.booztd3.com/Videos/...3.MPG

http://www.booztd3.com/Videos/...5.MPG

http://www.booztd3.com/Videos/...8.MPG

I ended up winning a trophy and 150 bucks for being the import with the fastest trap speed, and the biggest award of all was that I was able to drive the car the 90 miles home w/out any issues all while getting 30+mpg!!!

Only few saw it with the hood up while I was checking the fluids and stuff before racing..........

Lots were like jesus christ what does that thing have? And some of my friends in the stands said alot of people were pretty impressed.......

I scared the death out of 30-40 people when we were getting the 2-step setup, I had the retard rev setting down a bit and it was causing the car to back-fire like damn war-cannons.......several people in proximity jumped when I did it the first time,

Congrats man! That is one pretty sick car that you have! I'm just curious, what was your average speed on the highway to get around 30 mpg?

That neon on steroids was pretty close. I do think you beat him by half a car at least but what was your time for that last run? You guys seemed even.

This is what I love about imports. Drive it to the track, have fun at the track and then go out for beers afterwards without any worries. Nice looking ride and good trap speeds. What tire pressure are you running, might just want to drop a couple of psi for a better hookup.

I was running 15psi on MT ET Street Drag Radials, I've pulled 1.5 60 foots on the same setup, the track just wasnt prepped that night unfortunately

We were definately not even, he was trapping 110-112 ish........which in that car could be good for mid-high 12's maybe?

Notice he definately got a good jump on me at the light......I trapped 124 that run, which is good for low 11's with my car.......i've done it before

My best pass of the night was all of the 12.0's I ran

Its actually sounds like you were hooking good. Judging by the sound of your temp "quick" tune... if the track was any stickier..... you would have bogged "i think" .... or... you could have came out like a bat outta hell depending on your bravery.! great runs!

Great to see some vids on here.!

nice mph, especially for the first time out... 404 rwhp gave me 117.X mph and a 12.8 with i think a 2.8 60' haha I'm surprised you got the trophy though.. must not be a big import track

what 60's were you getting? 2.0?

that statement is stereotypical and just ignorant

Yeah, 110-112 is low 12's if you get a good 60' (1.6ish). I came in second at midnight madness' street stick class. Might have been able to come in first but the clutch started slipping when I got into 4th gear.

The midwest isnt typically known for being home to alot of fast imports, especially when we're several hours south of chicago, several hours north of St Louis, and several hours west of indianapolis.......

I heard there was a 140+mph AWD DSM there a few hours before, but it scattered its trans all over the place.......left on a trailer

Yes, my 60fts were around the 2.0 region, alot of guys later complained that track prep was virtually non-existent, I hope to get out to a better equipped track soon.
