Sooo, if you've seen my EHPS for S14 post, I ended up giving up on it. AZHitman hit me up about helping him develop a fully electric steering column like they have for the old Z cars that you can get from http://zpowersteering.com/. And after a few months wait, it's done! I'm pretty damn excited about this. No installation yet, just the parts all unboxed. Updates soon to come!

Nothing yet. It's been cold here and I've been busy with work.

Any updates? Been thinking about custom fitting myself, but if there's a kit available...

No, nothing yet. I got busy with work and having to pull the engine and it got put on the backburner. TBH, with the holidays coming up, I'm not sure I'll have time in the coming months either. It WILL get done though.

So, this isn't dead! Lots of life has happened in the last year and a half. I got divorced, moved, had to rebuild the engine AGAIN, but finally figured out why it kept failing, so it should stay together this time. Anyway, I'm finally getting to where I can work on the S14 again. I was able to get this mostly fitted. The firewall adapter plate and support bearing aren't right, so I need to get back with the company making this to get them some new measurements. I did have to trim a bracket under the dash and shorten the steering columns just a little more than they had done. This WILL fit under the dash of an S14. It's REALLY tight. The biggest issue being clearance with the throttle pedal and the ducting for the HVAC. There's JUST enough room between them for the motor. I have a bunch of pics I've taken along the way, so once I have this in and working, I"ll update this again.
