Well that is why i started the thread because atfer researching everything that was the best price i came up with, granted i will only pay 60% of the cost but if you can help with companies i cn look into I will check them out. and is the price including the motor? The $40k is the whole motors internals race prepped andRace trans. and turbo and intercooler.

yea the price, is the motor, go to the site, they can also fit custom titanium parts on it for you, which i would do if i had the money. yea the motor is race preped. the trans too i believe, try getting the gears cryo frozen, they are supposed to be a lot tougher then. u need to buy the turbo, and hoses and intercooler, but hey, the engine is ready to handle a 1000hp, which is great.

if you are looking for effeciency, the ceramics are your best bet. coat the tops of the pistons, combustion chambers and the exhaust port. that will lower you engine temps dramatically. from there you should also coat your exhaust manifolds and th hot side of the turbos.

the cryogenics process just keeps stuff from busting in the first place and makes it last a lot longer. crankshafts, connecting rods, pistons, head, valve springs, hell, they can dip the whole motor! also another worthwhile venture, in my eyes. anyway best of luck to ya!

A...ceramic coating goes on the outside of the engine. It's used mostly on the exhaust, to keep the heat from radiating out. b. Your motor has to be completely taken apart to be cryo'ed. It's not dipped!!! It's placed in a room thats chilled to -320 f for 12 hours, then room is allowed to be warmed slowly for 24 hrs until it reaches room temp. It's then heated to 320 f for 12hrs and allowed to cool for 24hrs. It cost around $600-$650 plus shipping for the motor. It takes 5 days for the process. There is also a 5%+ increase in hp. Your engine life will most likely be doubled if you boost it 20+ Kansas city, mo has the best cryo.

sideshow>>. actually, they can coat internal parts of the motor with ceramics. http://www.performancecoatings.com handles a lot of stuff. by putting the ceramics on the piston tops, it eliminates hot spots and prevents the piston from absorbing large amounts of heat. If you coat the combustion chamber and valve faces, it provides basically the same benefits, while when you coat the exhaust prots, it leaves more energy in the exhaust to power the turbo. then there is also dry film lubricant, molybidium is great stuff, many benefits, such as the hotter it gets, the better it lubricates.

ETZ Motors wrote:After researching all aftermarket parts for an RB26 I found that I would be spending close to $40,000 for everything, dose this sound correct I want my motor to be bullet proof when I build it. When my Car is done it will be the poster car for my Compnay ETZ Motorsports in NOVA. I woldn't actually spend the ful amount i can get parts on an adverage of 40% off but I would like info on where i canfind cheaper pricing for the parts.
rb26 sourcecarillo makes rods for greddy and hks(in stock)ATI makes adapter plates for gforce or power glide trannysATI makes harmonic balancers for power.ATI makes flywheelsect.most items you will need for your build up you can get right here in the US.most japanese companies contract out US manufactures to develope their products(JUN, Greddy, HKS, POWER, ect.)you will just have to search
