being a first semester full time college student I am just wondering what most people are working during the school year. I work about 33-40 hours a week mon-sat during the school year. Leaves little time for studying but I find time.

Well full time doesn't really specify how much school work you have since full time is anything over 12 hours. There is a difference between 3 and 6 classes.

I work 20 hours on the weekends and I have 18 hours of class a week. I have practically no time for anything else.

I work like 5-10 hours/week. Gives me some spending/alcohol money.

when I was in school I worked about 32 hours a week, although it was easier for me because my job allowed me to do overnights where most of the time I would just sleep...

10-15... My course schedule is pretty demanding. Plus I have a couple of extracirricular activities that are pretty time consuming, i.e. equestrian team, ult. frisbee, outting club, etc etc

When I was in college, I was taking 18 hours of classes and working 35-45 hours during the week. My weekends were reserved for sleeping and studying mostly.

13 units and 18-24 hours of work

i work on the days that i only have one class... weekends are most likely for homework. no time to go out. half my paychecks go to gas for school/work. no going out means i get to at least save some money.

I plan on working about 15 hours a week once school starts up again (and taking 4 classes). I enjoy my free time far to much to be stuck working the whole time. I'll work when I'm old, until then I actually plan on enjoying life

i agree with enjoying life... but to enjoy life is to go out, to go out is to use money, to get money is to work, to work is not go out

so work now, save money for summer to go all out

Luckily I usually make enough over the summer to go the whole school year without working. This year I'll work duing the school year a bit too so I can buy more cool gadgets.

I agree. Im taking 10 hours this semester (4 classes total, one's a lab) and I average about 15 hours +/-. I could work as much as possible...build my car up, etc. But I refuse to work myself to death being this young. Plus, if school is successful, I'll be making the big money anyway
