So...I was in the market for a manifold and turbo for my RB25. Looking for twin scroll. I fell in love with the Full Race manifold, but, not the price of course. Don't know if anyone else has seen, but, over the summer they had a sale. The RB manifold went from $2400 down to $1450!!!! I was exstatic! Definately purchasing that when I got up the money. I called up someone from the site and was ready to place the order. They quoted me $2465 shipped. I was like WHAT?!?! The manifold is on sale on your site for $1450! He said absolutely no way we can do that price. He said lowest he could go was ~$2100. He said there was a big mistake on the site and thats not the price and he was going to get the website guy to fix it ASAP.

I tried to buy it immediately off the site for the "sale" price. My order went through and processed...but they later cancelled it.

Anyway, I finally found a 6boost manifold for sale and bought that one. Was the same configuration as the full-race manifold I was looking at for half the price. So I guess it all worked out.

***The S14 KA24DE manifold price was also a mistake as well....they had it for $995 when the actual price is $1450!

its nonsense, the best dsm manifold you can buy is like $450. $2400 is an insult.

full race is VERY proud of their manifolds. i have purchased 2 in the past, and had some fitment and boost creep issues. they pretty much told me get bent, or spend a s*** ton MORE money with them to have another gate welded on. sold the mani, bought a full peakboost kit, and NEVER had an issue! fit better than full race, with no creep, and made insane power for the boost level!

-1 full race. +1 other brands!

450 for the best? I doubt that. My mani for my dsm from switzer was a bit over 2800. Depending on what you want and need sometimes its really worth it, In the past year ive changed alot of manifolds due to different set ups' I am at 920 AWHP now I just need more seat time. Either way ive used fullrace before and never had any issues , and they have always backed there product well . That just does not seem like them to be asses about things.

Full race is too expensive. I understand they have a really huge overhead because of the robotic tig welder but it's rediculous. When I had my turbo honda, I ended up getting a topmount twinscroll manifold from AFI turbo (Arizona Forced Induction) and the quality was amazing. I looked at their site again yesterday which is http://www.afiturbo.com and to my surprise they have a rb25/rb26 topmount manifold listed as "coming soon". Maybe this will be another option for US buyers. Maybe someone can get into contact with em for a group buy. When I was shopping for honda manifolds they were priced really well ($900 for a topmount t4 twinscroll) compared to other makers.

Here's the link http://www.afiturbo.com/store/...d6642

Just an idea.

I am suprised full race actually has business in this economy and there ridiculous prices. I feel insulted everytime I go to there website. I mean I could get a mustang and find a complete twin turbo kit on craigslist for cheaper than a full race rb manifold.

Afi turbo... Where the hell is the external wastegate piping?

That picture is a mock up. The merge collector is only tack welded on in the photos. I'm 100% positive it'll have a twin wastegate setup. Their work is top notch and they have a lot more manifolds for different cars than they advertise on their website.

***UPDATE***

Full-race called me back and told me they COULD NOT honor the price that I bought the manifold on the website ($1450) BUT they could do better on the price $1950 shipped.

I'm not going to take advantage of this offer because I've found my manifold already, BUT, if anyone wants to capitalize on this then let me know and I can get it to you for that price.

by law they have to. many many years ago when i had a retail job we had to sell several large screen TVs for $99 due to a mis placed price tag. if you want to push the issue you can.

Full race has never ever once provided good customer service to me. Every time I've called them looking for something (when I was living in phoenix), they sounded like a bunch of children trying to run a bad business. I understand someone knows how to build a manifold there, but other than that, they seem to be a business of stingy rich kids with a really nice welder. And seem to think their crap is made of gold.

6 boost is unbelievable value, Their manifold was incredible when I had it, no problems, no nutty price tag.

They do have horrible customer service. My question is that if they spent all the money on a robotic tig welder, then they should be able to produce the manifolds a lot faster w/o paying for people to weld them.... So why wouldn't they charge less and sell tons of them... I would buy one for 1000... I couldn't justify spending more than my motor costed though on a manifold.

Thats the exact impression of got of them when I called. Most businesses greet me when I call, when I called them I felt like they were saying "WTF do you want??"

I got my 6boost manifold in last week...it looks amazing!!! thanks krayton!

I'm sure I will be happy with it when I fit it on this week...

Robotic TIG's are not _that_ expensive, nor are they difficult to use if you know how to.

Unfortunately we had a few problems with the website a few weeks back and had to reinstall a few pieces of software. Some items were effected resulting in incorrectly listed sale prices. If anyone has ever experienced customer service that has not met their expectations, please email me directly ([email protected]) or our sales/tech staff ([email protected] or [email protected])and let us know what happened.
