full of gas smell!

Hi my 180sx is doing something weird.

So today after havent started the car for 2 week, i decide to start the car to run it.
After that it reeks full of gas smell in the trunk for a few hours, then suddenly it goes away.

Now im thinking its the Fuel Pump O ring but its quite weird.

It is also running on empty tank, could that contribute to the gas smell?

Probably a rotted vent line if the car's not acting strange. Pull the pump cover plate in your trunk and inspect the lines for any leaks.
