Was wondering if there are any goog exhaust systems for a sr. A full exhaust system is what I'm looking for. No catilac converter. Also what makes the fire come out of the exhaust when you down shift. I think it might be the unspent fuel but not sure.

thanks

the fire you might be looking for could be the Bee*R rev limiter. Rev to a certain point, instead of cutting the fuel, it'll cut the ignition and the fuel running through your system will catch on fire in your exhaust piping and shoot flames if you don't have a cat. You may want to find a downpipe with the test pipe built in or just get the test pipe. Either way it's easier than looking for an exhaust with an integrated test pipe. Good exhaust systems for the sr? There are plenty. Personally I've a GP Sports. You can try stuff from Apexi, greddy, or HKS.

Show the slightest appreciation for the air we have, and buy a cat.

nur spec is resonated and should be a bit quieter. Expect it to be around the same sound levels as the N1 by Apexi. If you see a bulge in the tubing before the actual muffler, it's resonated and will be somewhat quieter. If noise is that much of an issue that you'd get pulled over, get a cat and run a silencer. But then again, if it's going to be track use mainly, why even bother worrying about getting pulled over, since there aren't cops that monitor noise at the track? I run by Infineon raceway with my unresonated GP and I don't get pulled over, just gotta be somewhat more careful of how high an rpm you're running at.

oh another brand you may want to try is Bee*R for their exhaust systems. Or if you've some time and money, try fujitsubo. Those have to be one of the best sounding exhausts I've heard.
