I know Z guys are real iffy on where they take their cars. The place I generally take mine is Full Blown Motorsports in Apple Valley, Minnesota. I know they have worked on at least 1 Z before. Here are some videos of some of their projects. You think these guys can do a good job taking care of my Z?

It's kind of a mixed bag IMO, the 300ZX is pretty complicated and has lots of intricacies that they would have to learn about...but it's still a car with a gasoline engine, so the fundamentals are still the same. While their level of craftmanship might be high, they might miss out on some of the details that the guys that only wrench on Z's know about. Ultimately though, its not that hard to become an expert on the subject, I've learned heaps over the last 9 months. I guess it comes down to do you want to be a guinea pig as they learn how to work on the 300ZX, probably make a few honest mistakes that will take some time and money to correct, or do you want to go with a trusted shop that will get it right on the first try.

What do you need done? Don't think they should have any issues, provided they have FSM access. There may be a Z expert in your area though. I'd suggest asking in the general section of www.TwinTurbo.net as well as the regional forums here on NicoClub.com
