fule light

i've seen the low fule light in the cluster, it has never came on, is that normal???, i've replaced all the cluster lights (except the airbag) a couple of monthes ago, how can i find out if the fule light is getting enough voltage? other than being low on gas because i have tried that..... your feed back is appreciated

Thats been thrown around here a few times .Ive run on vapors before and mine never lit either.

i dont know but mine works just fine and will turn on when i have a about 30or so miles left (i had a gas can with me and ran it dry to see)

I've always wanted to do that, but. I didn't think the light in mine was working, until it finally winked on one night at 300 miles as I was zooming through a left turn. So I figure I'm safe at 300, and a commute trip usually comes up in the middle of that number, so I just stop and fill. If you know your mileage, give it a run.

Riddle me this.Does the Low fuel light come on when the ignition is started ?Like all the others ?

the fule light doesnt, however, the windshield washer fluid doesnt come on when the engine is started, but in my case low washer fluid light works fine
