I'm debating between the fujita and stillen intake after i get my stillen exhaust on my 2.5s CVT.

I recently found out that the Fujita SR-2825 model intake has been discontinued and the new SR-2824(4 cyl) model is out. According to Fujita web site the new intake is making more power than the old one http://www.f5air.com/images/dyno/sr2824.gif.

For the Stillen intake, there's only one model out and I'm not sure if it was made for a 6sp or CVT in either 2.5 or 3.5. I also heard that a lot of people is having trouble with the bracket on it.

I prefer to have almost every mods to be Stillen on my A/C but I'm not sure about the intake now.

the stillen pipe/arm is high quality, the filter is K&N, but the f*ckin bracket is annoying if you got a stick... I just got it to hold me over until the AEM or NISMO intake comes out... I've heard fujita is good but I've never used it, plus they don't have fitment problems. they all do the same sh*t in the long run... I'd say wait for the AEM one, and spend the money on its quality.

I dont see how the newer Fujita intake would increase HP over the discontinued model. I have the Fujita intake as well, and have no issues with it. Even fabbed my ram air to it and changed the air filter to the AEM dryfloe filter. If I were you, I'd wait for AEM to release theirs.

I am holding out for the K&N one, that one looks real legit. Theres a thread on here somewhere about it. It basically has the heat shield surrounding the cone filter and the stock piping fits into that heat shield. Looks really clean and functionable.

Here's the link to the previous post about the K&N WAI...http://forums.altimas.org/zero...age=1

I was holding out for this, but with the fire that hit the K&N plant a few weeks ago it's taking a while for this one to come out. I gave up and just ordered the Fujita yesterday from fujitaonline.com. Why did I choose Fujita over Stillen? Well...the Fujita comes in black for an extra $10!!! It only cost $202 shipped up to Canada, and I think they've got free shipping within the US right now too........

I purchased Fujita cuz the MAF sensor mounts on the side of the piping rather than on the top like the Injen.

I recommend the Weapon R or Fujita. I have heard the Weapon R gets the best results.

well i just talked to a fujita rep and they told me that the SR-2824 was tested on a 2.5s 6 sp and the SR-2825 was tested on a 2.5s CVT. that's why there's more power in the new model fujita. how I see it is all SRI performance is the same. the only thing that make em different is the quality and how it's made to fix your car.

anyone else have any input on the Stillen intake for a 2.5s cvt??? because that's really the intake system i want to get.

I'm ordering my Stillen intake today. I have a Fujita intake but I'm like you and want to see which one is better. I've checked online and I have NOT seen any videos of Stillen intake being showed. I will post a new thread up when I get it installed and make some videos.

i have same motor and transmission and the stillen DOES NOT work for the 2.5. there is no where to mount the bracket. I talked to stillen for 3 days, and sent numerous pics of my engine bay to them finally they took it back and i just purchased an injen

Actually i just got my Injen today for the 2.5s and the MAF sensor isnt located on the top, its kinda off center a little bit but there isnt any interference with the hood.

But yeah i just put it on and all i have to say is..."Somebody call the vet cause that puppy is SICK!!" it sounds awesome and it could just be in my head but i think it has a little more pick-up now.. I love it! Def recomend the Injen for the 2.5

if you check the under the hood where the black padding is there is a slight mark due to the injen intake maf location

No, i never saw a mark... im pretty sure there isnt any interference at all actually... if there is when you first set it on the throttle body you can just twist the intake slightly and you will have enough clearance
