So I think I've got this right. The SR2824 is the updated version of the original (SR2825) intake Fujita made for the 07+ 4 cyl Altima. And apparently they did all the testing and what not of the new one on a CVT transmission instead of on the MT like the original one, and supposedly it gives more power. However, I'm curious as to how much of a difference there actually IS between the two, if anyone knows? Is the difference worth getting the newer one over?
I ask because I wanted the intake in Championship Bronze but it isn't available on their website (fujitaonline.com) anymore. But I found it through a different vendor via google search in bronze, only it is the original SR2825 intake. My guess is that the difference in power is very minimal (seeing as the difference between the intakes out there in general is minimal), and since I mainly want it to dress up the engine bay to match my future bronze wheels, I should probably just jump on the bronze one while I can find it. However if anyone actually knows that the new one is significantly better, I will probably go with it and consider powder coating/painting the piping in the best heat-resilient manner or just drop the bronze-kick.
So... help a lady out with your input!?!
