Now this is something I can help you with! Fujita changed the design of their mounting bracket for the 2.5 a few months ago...but never bothered to change their instructions! I just took the top-most screw out of the bracket that holds the fusebox in place and screwed the rubber bumper into there. It's the perfect location for it (I'm pretty sure that's where Fujita intended for us to place it) and nothing is even remotely loose or rubbing on anything.DEFTON35 wrote:i just installed mine the other night but had a different problem. where it told me to secure the vibration mount to the ca,r there was alrady something using that mount, some type of coil thing. but in the directions the coil thing is not pictured. so i had to secure it with a different type of washer. has this happend to anyone else anyone else
Sorry to post again but nobody answered my other thread in the exhaust section. ESP, how did you go about removing the top fuse box screw? Did you have to go up and under the wheel well?ESP wrote:Now this is something I can help you with! Thats absolutely false. The ECU in this car is a learning based computer program. As you drive the ECU records and adjusts things idle air intake, a/f mixture ratios, and throttle position. Taking the negative off the car reset all this to relearn with the larger intake and volume of air being applied.LinkNuc wrote:Disconnection of our batteries does not reset the ECU, its flash based, it'll f up your radio though!
does this apply to everything? cuz i jsut got my nismo exhaust installed like a week ago. should i reset everything and let it adjust again? Or is this totally unnecessary? lemme know thanks!adidas2go wrote:

Thanks, Blake! I knew I was right...adidas2go wrote:Thats absolutely false. The ECU in this car is a learning based computer program. You open the hood and take the bolt out with your socket wrench. Seriously...it's the uppermost screw holding in the fuse box to the strut tower. Just take a look at where the mounting bracket on your intake is and find the closest place to screw that puppy in.Tommy: wrote:]Sorry to post again but nobody answered my other thread in the exhaust section.
