While installing my DET, I am removing the carbon cannister from my car (KN13 Pulsar NX SE). This leaves me with the line venting gas fumes from my tank just hanging there. Where should I safely relocate this to so that it adequately vents the fumes, but does not cause any kind of explosion/suffication risk?

Dont block it off, i remember reading a few threads about guys blocking it off and it having negative side effects. So im sure if you leave it to vent underneath your car to the atmosphere you should be fine. Just don't through cigerrette butts under your car.

I was suggested to run it into the frame rail venting toward the back of the car... this would still be dangerous, but only if I were to drive thru fire or something like that. That's what I think I'll do with it.

I just have mine venting at the very bottom of the firewall. I used to have it plugged....boy that was a bad idea. I used to wonder why the car ran worse with less than a half a tnak of fuel, haha.

Just leave it open. Its far enough under the car so its okay to do. Mine is open and there is no gas smell or anything on hot days.
