I just put in new timing chain kit and now truck won't start. Its getting spark but doesn't even try to fire. The fuel pump seems to be working because i hear it kick on for the few seconds before startup.

Is there a injector relay or something that would stop fuel from getting to the injectors? If so where?

Thanks

How do you know your getting spark? PUT your truck at TDC and pull your dizzy out. Then turn your ignition to the ON position and DONT START IT. Just spin the dizzy shaft and listen to hear your injectors clicking. You might wanna just do it a little bit so as not to flood out the engine. You can also pull the fuel rail with the injectors still attached and have them spray into a rubbermaid container. peace.

I got it started finally! I had timed the rotor wrong by putting it a few degrees off. It ran good for a bit while i was putting the timing light on it and than it started to bog and died. All power to my cab is down, radio, lights, horn, gauges, etc and now now it won't start.

Im wya lost now so any ideas?I checked all fuses and they are fine. Is there a main fuse or relay that would have fried first?

Thanks for the help guys.

Theres a fusible link on the positive cable of your battery, its probably fried. peace.

Sounds to me like maybe something grounded out causing the burnt fusible link in the first place. SO, check grounds for your battery and also the connections to your starter. does it crank at all? peace.
