You shouldn't do it. The excess fuel can run through the vent tube into the charcoal canister. Eventually will cause EVAP code and will require replacement of the canister and/or vent purge valve. See this thread:Malbec 56 Beast wrote: ↑Mon Aug 07, 2017 5:02 amSo,
I've been one of those guys, obsessive compulsive, that has to top off my fuel tank. Is there a problem with doing that. I haven't experienced any issues but I want your take on this.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks
Andy
I know you're joking but I know a guy that did that once. His Ranger needed oil and we weren't paying attention and he asked "how much does this think take anyway!?" Told him to check the dipstick, "dipstick?" he said. He had poured in about 10 quarts thinking it should actually be full.Malbec 56 Beast wrote: ↑Wed Aug 09, 2017 6:44 pmI actually fill my oil till it drips out the fill tube.
