fuel tank size? need help

i put gas in my car yesterday and i suspect there is something wrong with the sending unit in the tank if someone knows exactly how much gas a 91 240sx coupe hold i would greatly appreciate it

15.9 gal. All the capacities are in the back of your owner's manual.
