so at normal driving i can redline in gears 1-3 dont ever try in fourth...at wide open throttle i start having a fuel cut type action around 4500 in first and second but not in thirdso i am trying to figure out what is causing this and am debating whether or not to change fuel pressure regulator or fuel pump firstits a 76 280z

I assume you've already replaced the fuel filter? your problem could also be a partially clogged fuel pickup, the pickup tube in these cars is just that a tube, it can corrode at the eng and eventually clog almost completely, I sumped my stock tank to fix this issue

ah i guess we will find out and yes i did replace fuel filter a month ago

so plan on going turbo and dropping in a turbo l28 from the later years if i can find onewhat is best fuel pump to purchasei dont plan on going above like 350 hp if i can even get that high

summit sells an MSD electric pump for like $80 thats big enough to feed 500 hp! thats what I run, it's not real quiet and you gott feed it with hard line or it'll suck the hose shut....seriously

you've never heard of summit? you live under a rock?http://summitracing.com/they aren't really oriented to imports but they do sell a lot of import parts as well, they are one of the largest aftermarket pwarts suppliers in the world, mostly domestic v8 stuff

i dont do domestic v-8s very much and no i dont live under a rock hahai have heard it mentioned just never went to their site

my exhaust is loud why should this bother me ha im gonna order it like now. another question im thinking about replacing all the lines and stuff around it and coming out of tank. i cant find where to buy them also is just any autozone belt for my crank and altenator and water pump ok...or is there a certain brand you guys would recomendim trying to start my build off right and not skimp for cheap parts

also i need the inner or lower shift boot things for my transmission...and i dont know where to get them besides going to dealership and having to order
