Hey all. I'm a new 350 owner. I read somewhere in the owners manual you should put 96 Octane fuel in the car.

Where can I get 96?? (preferrably near or in Sumas WA)

I'm across the border in Canada and the highest octane fuel in Canada is 94. You can't get anything higher than that.

As long as you put in premium fuel you should be fine. I run 92 or 93 octane.

Thanks.

I read on Wikpedia that the 2005s burn oil due to possibly faulty rings. Ever hear this? Heard of many '05s burning oil?

The highest octane at the pumps in the US is 93 except for racing fuel which is a total waste of money for the stock or near stock Z. Thats all thats required and is specified in US manuals.

I usually fill up at Speedway, but if I'm near a Marathon or Shell I fill up there.

Got the octane stuff a figured out.

What I was reading and the manual refers to is RON 96....which I guess is the equivilent of 91 octane (91 aki) at the pump.

I can get 91, 92, and 94. Think 94 is a waste of money?

Either of those choices is good. The main thng is how much money do you want to spend on gas. I usually go with 92 or 93, but if the 94 is the premium gas go with that.
