Fuel system questions

hey, i was wondering what all injectors i can use with my KA-T??? and what modifications i would have to make for them to work?

i am looking at getting some TTz injectors, would they work?? if so how easy are they to put on, will i need a new fuel rail???

i was also looking at tstock SR20DET injectors, or thoes a direct swap??? (i heard that somewhere)

also when should i upgrade the fuel pump?? i am on a 1500 budget so i cant do every thing right now but i got everything i need includeng turbo timer, boost controler, S-AFC, and gauges priced out for less that 1500 w/o shipping so i have a little extra cash to throw around and i wanted to help the fuel system so i thought i should get injectors but wasnt sure if i would need the pump right away.

basically you can fit side feed injectors. if you want to buy top feed ones, you will need a new fuel rail to match. I dont know what type the Z injectors are. The SR injectors do fit though, lots of people use those.

If you're upgrading the injectors it's probably a good idea to get the pump as well. It really depends on how much you are boosting, but for any significant amount you're gonna need more fuel than the stock pump can supply.

Z injectors are 370cc side feeds just like the SR injectors. However, only certain years work, I think it's 96-98 or something, you'll have to run a search to find out.

alright thanx a lot

i plan on running about 10 psi, does that require bigger injectors and pump?? and would a z pump work too??

I would definitely suggest the pump and inj for 10PSI. And you can use 300zx 94+,95 & 96 injectors. The 94+ meaning later 94s. And the z pump has been used before, I would suggest the Walbro 255HP (~$110) that way you have room to grow.

i know 400hp 240's (SR *and* KA) that run the Walbro 255. It's a great deal.
