with the many 240z's i see with 280zx turbo motors in them, i am always curious how the carb'ed fuel system is changed to deal with the high pressure and volume loads of a fuel injection system...i've seen a few setups with surge tanks using the factory tank, but on the s30's do you just swap out tanks from an injected car?

well, I am one of "those people" I have a ZX turbo motor in my 71, most people use a tank from a 75, it had the early style rear floor pan so it bolts right in, I however added a sump to the stock fuel tank, and ran new 3/8 aliminum fuel and return lines with a RRFPR, I got plenty of fuel now

all the 74.5-83 cars use an external inline pump, it mounts just ahead of the tank, I had to make a mount as my car was earlier and didn't have the little flange
