as some of you know, i fried my ecu and going megasquirt. i had to sell of some of my **** to buy it but in the midst, dug myself a deeper whole in my wallet.

i can eliminate everything connected to the intake manifold that makes the area above the fuel rail a complete clusterflizzle. realized that my fuel rail, etc, will be in plain sight. awesome. stock fuel rails are ugly. i decided to sell my dsm 450s. and send my fuel rail to the machinist where we have dash 6 billet fuel rail stock. i will be ordering Precision injectors from work within a few days. 880cc probably. they're cheap so whatever. which leads me to question #1. i wont be reaching more than 350whp until i get my new turbo which will require 1600cc injectors. so how much of a hassle would it be to have excessively large injectors? i dont feel like buying 2 sets of injectors within 6 months.

the machinist appearantly anodized and laser etches and engraves. question #2. i plan on re-selling these fuel rails. i just dont know what to have done. i want to keep them all the same. i thought about polishing them and engraving something into them. NISSAN 1800. something or other. or anodizing them red and etching something into it.

let me know what you guys think. i need some ideas so i know exactly what i want when the time comes. which is soon.

what are your horsepower goals, because 880s are much bigger then you need to do 350whp, and getting the car to idle with 1600s will be fun. i would suggest keeping the 450s untill you start maxing them out then grow from there.

future hp goals will be upwards of 600hp. thats no pipe dream. like i said, i just want to buy multiple set of injectors. and 220 is expensive for injectors TMS. used anyway. i'll pay less for brand new 880s problem is i dont think the 880s will be good enough for 600. see where im going? and thats 600 crank. im looking for 500s.

Exactly what he said idling the car well with 1600's will be fun. 880's should put you somewhere in the ballpark of 560 or so, someone correct me if I'm wrong though.

Remember you have you quadruple the pressure to double the flow.

Increasing the fuel pressure also drops the flow rate of your fuel pump.

Increased fuel pressure is a band aid.

Like Float said, Increased Pressure = Decreased Volume.

i know. i think 880s will be more than i'll ever make. i have faith in the CA but i want it to last. 240 bucks for a set of brand new injectors is enough to make me get them. good point about the fuel pressure though. thanks guys.
