Well, I would advise against trying to repair something in that condition. But if you insist, here's a few ideas for you to consider. First off welding, get a wire brush with long bristles and clean off the area as best you can making sure no rust remains then get a mig welder and set it to the lowest setting and you should be ok, but getting the bottom of the line welded would be a pain. Once welded, get JB WELD and put it all over the welding to seal any possible leaks. If you can't however, come up with a welder, just use strait JB Weld, not the best but it's probably your best option. Don't just put enough to hold it. First you have to have it stay in place use tape or what to keep it in the place it originaly was in. Put only a small amout of JB WELD onto the broken area, going all the way around would be best, Wait till it dries, then mix a larger batch and put it on the dried JB WELD. Continue to do so until you have somewhat of a large puddle of JB Weld, Don't just pour a large amount of Uncured JB WELD oto the peice, have to build it up in layers for the most strength. If this don't work. You're gonna have to buy a new unit. You can find JB Weld at most auto parts stores and hardware stores.
