Fuel Sending Unit O-Ring/Gasket?

Anyone know the part number for the o-ring/gasket that goes between the top of the fuel sending unit, and the fuel tank?

Recently installed a new fuel pump, and for some odd reason when I went to re-install everything, the o-ring seemed way to large to fit into the groove it sits in? I trimmed it down (probably not a good idea) so it would fit properly, but now I am getting a slight fuel smell in the trunk area...

Anyone have any experience with this o-ring? I tried to get it to fit in there properly, but it seemed like it was to large to sit in the little groove below the sending unit...

If anyone has a part number or any information about how this is supposed to sit in there, I would greatly appreciate it!
