Ok guys, this question stems basically from me being able to buy a fuel setup off an SR, it's an aftermarket top feed fuel rail and injectors. I have an SOHC just for the record. I measured on my friends SR earlier today, it looks like the injectors are equally spaced at just about 4" apart, and I undetstand the DOHC and SR share a comming fuel rail. I wandered out to my SOHC just now to measure, and it looks as if 1-2 and 3-4 are an equal distance apart, while 2 - 3 is a larger gap. It's dark out and I was piddling around with a dim flashlight, but it looks like the injector bungs are off center a little bit on the intake manifold. Is it possible that the intake ports for some reason arn't spaced the same as on a DOHC head? Or what? Anyone have any experience with this?

I am going to be building an intake manifold for this motor anyways, so I can correct the spacing to be equal on the runners if it is in fact the same, but I just havn't pulled the intake manifold off the car yet and looked at the head.

I know I can just pull the injectors out and use them in the stock fuel rail, don't waste your time telling me that.
