Results would have been immediate- obviously that was not the correct solution to the problem. Proper diagnosis is required before trying procedures, otherwise one can spend tons of money chasing a problem.

Have a qualified tech perform a diagnostic battery of tests to pinpoint issue- could be failed injector that requires replacement, not cleaning.....or a number of other things not related to injectors or fuel system.

First thing before the fuel rail flush:

Replace fuel filter.

Ohm test the injectors.

Run ISO-Heet and BG44K

Check MAF connector.

You did not hurt anything, but your order of triage was incorrect.

BG rail flush?

I ohm tested my injectors today and my #2 and #7 injectors are reading bad. I guess that if cleaning doesnt work then i must replace these injectors. Should i continue with changing the fuel filter and cleaning the MAF sensor? I could not at the time get my hands on a can of bg 44k so i used o bottle of gumout fuel injector cleaner to a full tank of premium gas (sunoco premium).

MAF sensors usually don't need cleaning unless air filter intervals are abused or non-OEM filter (like K&N) are employed. It's the connector that is the culprit.

If you are going to change any other injectors (and you must if they are out of specification), you need to research the under plenum hose replacement and KS job and think seriously about including the VC gaskets and plugs.

If you don't know when your filters and fluids were last new, they are replaced so you have a known baseline.

http://www.bgfindashsop.com or Joe. Very few of the additives marketed work, so research here first before using any.

Read MSDS of Gumout 95-99% kerosene

Don't assume many inexpensive products available to public [discount stores] are very useful
