Hi, in anticipation of replacing the FI’s in my 94Q, I pulled the fuel rails out of an old Q at a salvage yard. I’d like to pre-clean the rails, so that when I install the new FI’s the job will go faster. What’s the best way to clean the rails? How can I store the rails for 6-9 months so that no corrosion occurs?

Any thoughts are appreciated.

I've stored instruments and various woodworking tools in those silicon drawstring socks you buy for hand guns. Works great!
