ok first off let me say i just bought my first import like 2 months ago i just got out of the minitruckin scene so the ever so popular search more response wont work cause i don't know how to search for everything. my first question is will a sohc transmission fit a dohc motor and will a s14 computer work in an s13? secondly i was reading a topic about fmu's and fpr's my quesion is do you just add the ratios up and crank the fpr to said number or what and how does the fmu work?. i hate to ask the same quetions other people do i just don't understand all the answers that have been given.

yes the trans should fits14 computer won't work in an s13 cause s14 is obd2 and 13 is obd1

fpr is usually 1:1 (regulates fuel in boost or vacuum)fmu usually work in conjunction with fpr (raises/regulates the ratio only on boost ex: 12:1, 10:1 etc)
