So apparently under the car there is a wiring harness that obviously contains wires. Lol now the question is does anyone know where this is actually at? I can't seem to be able to find it.

Nissan said that one of the screws holding up my LEDs is causing my fuel pump fuse to blow but I can't understand why that would actually hurt it unless it clipped the wire and it's exposed. Anyone else have any ideas?

Also they failed to tell me which screw it was and they told me to take it back to CarToys but they don't know which one it is either...

The harness is most likely running the length of the car on the left side of the vehicle. You'll have to take the door sill protectors off and lift the carpet up to see the harnesses. They most likely nicked one of those wires. If it's just the fuel pump, feel lucky. They could have shorted the whole car hitting a few wires at a time.

Well they are ( or at least should be) responsible for the damage considering that they are "profesionals" at installing things to cars. They should have been aware that there is a wire harness under the car. Don't you think?

But anyways I'll have to take a look and see if I can find the problem. Hopefully it won't be too hard of a task.

They should be responsible. It's your choice to fix it yourself, or take it up with them. They caused the damage doing the install.

So the dealership just replaced the fuse but didn't fix the wiring problem? SO this could happen again and again until you find the screw in the harness?

BTW, it may or may not be in the left side. It may be the right side. There is a harness on both sides of the car. It's easy enough to pop the sills panels off and look under the carpet.

Well the guy at the service desk failed to tell me which screw it was that is interfering with the wires so I was just going to take a looksy and see what I can find so I know which piece needs to be moved from the underglow or what needs to be done in general. Maybe taping up the wires with electrical tape..?

My car has only acted up once since I got it back from Nissan and it was when I had my underglow on, so until I get it fixed I plan on keeping them off so I don't have anymore breakdowns over a fuse! lol
