Fuel pump wiring, please help.

1996 S14 chassis w/CA18det. I have a downloaded FSM but the wiring diagrams have no colors on them. It looks as though the black/pink wire goes from the fuel pump to the relay to the junction to the engine bay near the battery. What is it connecting to at that point. There is a small connector where it terminates. Is it going to power or switched power or the fuse box or something completely unexpected? If you're going to say something unhelpful (ie: ask the CA18 boards or what happened to your old harness), please don't bother to post.
