Fuel pump wiring issue?

Hi. New to this forum...

I have been searching and unsuccessful in locating, so excuse me if this was already covered.

I have a 2005 SE Off Road, 24,XXX miles (pretty much standard, no Bose, sunroof, etc). It has been to the dealer twice in two years for a faulty wire causing the fuel pump to stop working . Anyone else have this issue (or am I the only one)?

If you did, has anyone been successful in extending the warranty in case this happens again?
