circuit. look up electronics in tutorials . there is a forum that is quite good about this. i would stick to original wiring for fuel pump.

If you are going to bypass standard wiring for the fuel pump then at least run it's own circuit. Fuel pumps pull more power than people think.

A fuse is better than a fuleable link, but that is just my opinion.

you mean like ground it to the battery instead of the car?

no, like run the proper gauge wiring to the fuel pump and the proper size fuse. dont have other things on the fuel pump circuit that will draw to many amps for the wiring and pop the fuse or burn up your wiring.

fix the factory wiring for the fuel pump.

is it easy to start car in moring because the air regulator is on the fuel pump circuit.

the fuel pump relay is a switch. the computer sends ground to the relay which opens a switch in relay that send 12v positive to fuel pump. if the computer part is working as evidenced by the regulator working it should be easy to fix the factory wiring.

well when i did the diagnostic on my ecu the light wouldn't come on at all so i'm thinking its my ecu now... so i feel like a Civic right now (slow) i also found out tonight that the ecu was for an automatic not a manual so i'm sure that didn't help either. If i can manage to find a wiring harness for the whole car would anyone suggest replacement of the whole system after i check the new one and redo the conduit? I kinda wanna go ahead and do that since the janky wiring done by the previous owner is very very very... very crappy or is it just not worth it?
