Fuel pump up and died ?

Changed the fuel filter,put in a wix,car ran well for about 10 minutes total and now the fuel pump stopped working. Thank you very much ! Fuse is still good,put theirs no rumble in the back seat area that I always herd when I turned on the car and it won't start. If it does get to fire off,it runs like it is getting fuel starvation. Yea buddy

IF you could hear the pump buzzing, that means the pump was on it's last legs anyway. Probably doesn't have anything to do with the fuel filter.

I throw up my hands and surrendered to this beast. It's now in the care of "professionals". I did get to the fuel pump/strainer assy,got voltage at the pins and the pump motor ran for 5 seconds,just like the book said it was supposed to.This thing is kicking my butt,oh and it pushes very easily with just one person too.

I think the questions here are:

• How many miles on the car?
  Was Top Tier Premium from a newer stations commonly used?
  What was the fuel filter replacement schedule?

It's got 200K on it,the service by the previous owners looks good,new belts,fluids kept up. It's gonna have some issues with components meeting there service life. I think the car has some bad MOJO from previous owner.

Well, got it back from the professionals,got 5 new ignition coils,fuel system work,and it seems to run better. Gonna party with Jose Cuervo(sp) and give it the old run a roo tomorrow and see where were at.
