My 1999 Q45T will not start. Seems like it is not getting any fuel. How do I check the fuel pressure and operation of the fuel pump? I had the same problem with my 1994 Q45. I could hear the fuel pump working but it had no pressure.

I guess to check if there is fuel being pumped you could disconnect the fuel lines on the fuel filter and see if the fuel flows through.

Almost every Nissan shop has a fuel pressure tester, which they tee into the after fuel fiter rubber fuel hose. 34 psi idle, 43 psi upon acceleration.

Study the snapon/mac fuel tester kit they are all long enough to tape the gauge to the windshield for drive testing.

I thought the non starting was due to flooding, I tried the flooded proceedure, but not the case. I tried and tried to crank it till the battery died. Next day I tried boosting it, still not cranking. So I decided to just disconnect the negative battery cable to reset the ecu. After a couple of hours it cranked. I let it run for about 45 minutes, turned it off, then tried to crank it but it would not. Next morning it would not crank again. I pulled the fuel supply line, it is getting fuel. So I reset the ecu again, and it it cranked again. This is fustrating. Any suggestions?

How old is the battery? Good idea to replace the battery every 3 years. Don't wait for it to die.
