Hello everyone,I am new proud owner of 92Q45 with a 72K that I bought in Florida. After spending some money to replace tension strut arm bushings, rear outer tie rods, completely repainting the car at the dealership and some other minor things the car is super and pleasure to drive. The only thing that I noticed and a bit concern about it is the little notice that coming from the back of the car, I assume that this is fuel pump. Do I have to be really concern about it? I heard that some pumps could be a little noisy.

Thanks, Viktor

Welcome Viktor, A humming fuel pump is usually a sign that the motor is on its way out. A new pump will cost $235 for the part, and you can install it in a couple hours. The risk is that a bad pump will also destroy the pump controller, which costs a lot too, so it's better to have it done soon. Only use a factory part; other brands will also ruin the controller. Sorry, sorry. By mistake I posted my question on the Nissan’s section and then realizing my mistake posted in Infinity section. After that I think that moderator has given me hand moving my message from Nissan to Infinity which caused double posted thread. Thanks for the help. Viktor
